Moving Again

Elizabeth B.
Hawaii

“This painting shows the pressure and exhaustion that comes with moving. It’s not just taking things from place to another, it’s saying goodbye to old friends and the places that you were able to call home. It’s about the mental preparation that comes with realizing that you have to start all over. You have to find a new coffee shop for the weekends, a new layout for your house, a new friend group, a completely new life. The painting is meant to capture the moment of rest in a time of stress and uncertainty.”
