Hello there! My name is Kate Ulrich, and I’m a sophomore in high school. I have moved 9 times in 15 years. My favorite places geographically were Japan and Colorado; my favorite places socially were Colorado and Alabama. In addition to writing, I love reading, music, and movies. The Chaos Walking and Unwind series are two of my favorite series. My music taste gravitates toward musicals and classic rock. My all-time favorite movie is Inception, though some of you may have noticed I’m also a Star Wars fan (check my first sentence). In my opinion, dessert is best served cold and on a cone. I am an optimist who writes and prays to ground herself in new places, and the first thing I always look for after moving is a library.
